New skills: Learning SQL and Programing language for enhanced Solutions

The ever-evolving landscape and demands of our personal and professional life is a challenge, but not an insurmountable one. Staying ahead means continuously learning new skills adapting and evolving. As the founder of SBL Consulting, I’m always looking for ways to refine and tailor solutions that truly make a difference for businesses. That’s why I’m currently expanding my knowledge at Mt. San Antonio College, diving deep into Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python (programing language).

This journey is more than just learning a programming language — it’s about leveraging the actions and experiences we have everyday and alchemizing them into data-driven decision-making to optimize operational efficiency.

My current coursework includes:

✔ Creating and managing databases – Understanding how to build and structure data storage efficiently.

✔ Retrieving and updating data – Ensuring smooth and secure data transactions.

✔ Developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers – Automating critical processes for better efficiency.

✔ Assessing and creating datasets to solve business challenges – Using SQL to analyze trends and make informed safety and operations recommendations.

✔ Building an end-to-end data pipeline in Databricks – Organizing, transforming, and optimizing data workflows.

✔ Developing a full project proposal – Selecting and analyzing data, defining key metrics, and presenting insights that drive real business solutions.

By integrating SQL and data analytics into the my arsenal of skills and experience, I’ll be able to offer even more customized solutions to my clients. Whether it’s optimizing equipment maintenance tracking, improving KPI development, or streamlining logistics and inventory control, my goal is to use data to drive smarter decisions.
